Director of Development and Alumni Relations
Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management
I recently accepted the position as Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management starting on the fourth of August.
This position is a great fit for both my skills and my goal to help educate people.
In the short term I will be commuting to Willamette in Salem but will eventually be working out of the satellite MBA facility in downtown Portland (in the Pearl District next to Powel’s Books). My primary responsibility will be building relationships with Alumni, business owners, companies, and charitable donors. I will also have the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally.
As things move forward if you have any questions related to Willamette’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management, the Early Career MBA Program or the MBA for Professions Program please contact me.
On a historical note, Willamette University is the oldest University in the Western United States, founded in 1842, seventeen years before Oregon become a state on February 14, 1859. Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Business has previously been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the best business school in the Pacific Northwest and the fifth best business school in the Midwest and West region. It is the first school in the world to be accredited by both the AACSB (for Business) and NASPAA (for government and not for profit administration) and is one of only two schools in the world to hold that distinction.
